Freedom of Information (FOI)
Llanishen Court Surgery is committed to being open and transparent. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, all public authorities must adopt a Publication Scheme approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
We have adopted the ICO Model Publication Scheme, which sets out the types of information we routinely make available to the public.

2. What we spend and how we spend it
GP practices are funded through the NHS Wales General Medical Services (GMS) contract. Information about the GMS contract is available here:

(We do not routinely publish detailed financial breakdowns. Some information may be withheld if it is commercially sensitive.)
3. What our priorities are and how we are doing

4. How we make decisions
Decisions about the running of the practice are made by the GP Partners and the Practice Manager. We hold regular practice meetings and participate in cluster and multidisciplinary meetings.
(We do not publish meeting minutes, as they may contain personal or confidential information.)

All regulated healthcare professionals working at the practice are registered with their appropriate professional body.

(We do not hold or publish any other public registers.)
7. The services we offer
NHS and non-NHS services we provide
Activity Data
We publish monthly activity data as part of the NHS Wales Access Standards, including information such as appointment volumes, telephone demand, digital contacts and prescription activity. Our latest activity reports can be found here.
How to Access Information
Most information is available free of charge on our website. If you need information in another format, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Making a Freedom of Information Request

Charges
Information published on our website is free of charge. If you request printed copies or large volumes of material, we may charge a reasonable fee to cover costs.
