Repeat Prescriptions
If you are on long term treatment, we will usually give a printed list of medicines, the repeat order form, attached to your prescription. You can then order repeat prescriptions without having to see the doctor every time.
This system should only be used to ask for medicines listed on a repeat order form
Tick the items you want and place the request in the prescription box in reception before 15:00. Allow 2 working days for your prescription to be processed. If it is after 15:00, then allow 3 working days. Prescriptions will be available after 17:00.
You may collect the prescription in person from the surgery or, if you send us a stamped self addressed envelope we will post it back to you. We do not normally accept repeat prescription requests by telephone but we do accept them by post or fax.
From time to time we will still need to see you for a medication review.
If you want a prescription for anything not on the repeat order form, then you must discuss this with the doctor. Any requests for medication not on the repeat order form will not be processed.

Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
